DENTAL IMPLANTS
BIOCARE NOBEL DENTAL IMPLANTS
Dental Implants are now considered the best, premium choice of tooth replacement in achieving the stability, esthetics and function equivqlent to a antural tooth.
A dental implant replaces the complete structure of a tooth, both the Root and the Crown . It consists of a fixture/screw made of titanium which is drilled into the jawbone that acts like a root of a tooth to which an artificial crown is attached later.
Advantages of Dental Implants
With the fixture acting as the root of the new tooth, a dental implant is able to fully restore the stability and function of a lost tooth. And when it comes to aesthetics, an implant blends so seamlessly into your smile that it is nearly impossible to tell it is a restoration. Dr.Ravinder will help you combine an Artistic hand with Glass-like Ceramic Restorations to design each crown as beautiful and natural-looking as the tooth it replaces.
WHY SHOULD WE GO FOR DENTAL IMPLANTS THAN BRIDGES
1. A dental implant will serve to prevent bone loss after tooth loss by When all of your teeth have been lost, the jaw bone also starts to shrink , reduce in size in the absence of a proper chewing function. When the bone loss becomes critical, it becomes more difficult to replace teeth with just dental implants only.
What Are The Benefits of Dental Implants?
We are passionate about providing a fully personalized service and restoring, not only the teeth of our patients but confidence in their appearance.
1. Permanent Solution
Modern dental implants look, feel, and function like natural teeth. Implants replace the natural tooth root to restore form and function. If you’ve experienced tooth loss due to dental decay or accidental trauma, you know that it can negatively affect your self-confidence.
2. Natural Look and Feel
Implants look and feel like natural teeth, providing a seamless and aesthetically pleasing result.
2. Preservation of Jawbone
Beyond improving your cosmetic appearance, replacing missing teeth is vital, because having missing teeth can also negatively affect your oral health, in the sense that missing teeth can cause tooth alignment problems, as well as deterioration of the jaw bone, as well as TMJ issues. Dental implants address these problems and have been used for several decades with spectacular results.
3. Improved Functionality
Eat, Speak, and Smile with confidence. Dental implants restore full chewing function and speech clarity.
If you currently wear dentures, you may find them inconvenient and uncomfortable. They might shift around, affect your ability to taste food, or cause anxiety about them slipping out in social situations.
What is a Single Tooth Implant
Single tooth implants offer a number of advantages over other tooth replacement options, such as bridges and dentures. They are more durable, comfortable, and natural-looking. They also help to preserve jawbone health and prevent the shifting of adjacent teeth.
What Are Full Mouth Dental Implants
Although many patients have no problem wearing an upper denture, some people find it difficult to wear and eat with lower dentures. Several implant-supported replacement options are available if you are missing all of your lower teeth.
Ball Attachment Denture
One option is to have two implants placed in your lower jaw, and a denture made that snaps onto these implants. This option allows your lower denture to be more stable while chewing than without implants. However, your lower denture will still move, and sore spots will occur if any food particles, especially seeds, are caught under it. As with all removable replacement teeth, you still will need periodic appointments for denture adjustment.
Bar Attachment Denture
Another option involves placing four to six implants into your lower jaw, depending on your jaw size or shape. After healing is complete, the implants are connected with a custom-made support bar. Your denture will be made with special internal retention clips that attach to the support bar, enabling the denture to snap firmly into place. This is called an “overdenture.” The advantage of this option is that it is much more stable than the first option and allows very little denture movement. Your denture is still removable for easy cleaning and maintenance.
Screw Retained Denture
A third option involves placing five or more implants in your jaw and attaching a permanent denture. Your denture is held in place by screws or clasps that secure it to the support posts or bar. It doesn’t touch the gum tissue, which allows you to clean under the denture without removing it. This denture will replace all your missing lower teeth and will not be removed except at maintenance visits. Although cleaning under your denture without removing it is more time-consuming and requires more dexterity, many patients who want a permanent denture prefer this option.
What are Same Day Dental Implants?
Traditionally, dental implants are inserted into the jawbone, covered with gum, or fitted with healing caps, and left to fuse or osseointegrate with the jawbone for several months before the restoration can be made and fitted, a technique called delayed implant loading. Osseointegration can take three to six months to complete, and the implants must not be disturbed during this time. Any movement could interfere with healing, delay this process, or cause implant failure.
He the practice with their smile fully restored.
Advancements in technology mean implant dentists can load or fit new implant teeth soon after surgery to insert the implants while ensuring that osseointegration can occur.
The surgery is possible because the implant prosthesis is designed to splint or hold the dental implant posts together, preventing movement of the implant posts during healing.
The implant teeth are fabricated before surgery, ready to fit onto the dental implants soon after surgery.
The materials used in same-day dental implants are the same as those used in traditional dental implants, such as Titanium and Zirconia, except for temporary restoration.
